It's Finished

Arabella had a play date this morning and on the way home she fell asleep in the car. Since she has been sleeping, I have been able to do some cleaning around the house and I was able to finally put the finishing touches on our Master Bedroom.

I know that I am probably spoiled by the size of this room. And the fireplace, large windows, beautiful wood floors and sitting area don't help! It is a beautiful room any time of the day, but it is situated just right in the house so the sun fills it with light almost all day long.

My great grandparent's antique mirror just fits in the room and the wall that it is against is just perfect! We are lucky that it fits since we don't have the cathedral ceilings in this house that we have had in our past residences.







Now that it is finished, I am thinking of taking on a few projects in the room. I am searching for new nightstands. And I would like to make, yes, make, an upholstered headboard for the bed. Stay tuned...
