We finally caught the squirrel who has been attacking the bird feeder in action! It was crazy the way he climbed the house and was hanging on with his back legs while he ate!

Girls Night Out
Last night was a girls night out. I joined 5 other moms from Arabella's class at school for dinner at Bistro Merlot. A out of this world restaurant in DDO - I love the jalapeno bacon soup and I was so excited when I saw that they had Coppola Rosso on the wine menu! We had so much fun, we closed the restaurant down! Thanks Maria, Stacy, Erin, Caroline and Vivian for a great Saturday night!
Silly Girls
Arabella had a play date with Cristina on Friday afternoon. They dressed up and were giving Carrie and I a fashion show and got pretty silly in the process...
Wedding Dress Bonanza
Last Thursday, the Hudson Moms did something fun. Something that we don't regularly do. We got together and put on our wedding dresses. I know, pretty silly sounding, especially just 10 weeks after having a baby, but it was a blast. Sheila took pictures of us, much better than the ones I took, so those will come at a later time, as she is still editing. After the photos, we enjoyed some munchies and good conversation. I loved the afternoon and being able to spend more time with my friends. I am treasuring the moments now more than ever.

Fun With Auntie Lori
We we so lucky to have Auntie Lori for a visit. She had so much fun playing with Arabella and snuggling with Max. It was nice to have an extra set of hands during this busy, busy time. I was also able to get a bunch of appointments, errands and other important things done while she was here. THANK YOU! You have no idea how much your help, love, time and friendship mean to us.
One of our favorite things that we did with Auntie on this visit was play in the snow. We had snow ball fights and trekked around the yard. Arabella had some much fun ganging up on us...she has a pretty good aim. We laughed and laughed until we got too cold and wet to play anymore. It was a fun afternoon. Even Max got in on the action, although he was more of a referee and I'm sure was taking notes for when he is bigger and can join in the fun.

New Favorite Drink
In an effort to use up some of our alcohol since the movers won't move it across borders, Lori and I found a new drink. Bram actually introduced us to it...so we named it the Goldman...tequila, cranberry juice, lime juice and ice. Yum!
Snow Day
For the first time since we moved here 39 months ago, the schools were closed and Arabella experienced her 1st snow day! We took advantage of it and got outside to burn off some energy. We went to the sledding hill behind Arabella's school and had a ton of fun! Auntie Lori, Arabella, Max and I loved laughing and playing in the snow. Although, Max slept through most of the fun.

Spring Snowstorm
Mother Nature wasted no time reminding us that we are still in Quebec and that it is still cold enough to snow! Last Monday through Wednesday, we got dumped on! And I mean dumped on...heavy wet snow. Don't get me wrong, it was absolutely beautiful, but I am ready for Spring. This is the first year since we moved here that we have had a true Quebec Winter. I guess Mother Nature wanted to give a real taste of it before we fly south. I have to say, I am going to miss the snow since I am a New Englander through and through. It is starting to melt now, little by little, but I bet there will be piles of snow in places until June!
We had to go to the US Consulate's office in Montreal on Wednesday morning to file Max's US paperwork and this was one of the sights we saw.

March Special Day
Last Monday was Arabella's Special Day at preschool. It was bittersweet for me as this will be the last time that I will have room duty for her preschool class and it was her last Special Day. She was so excited to be having her Special Day and loved leading her class in their daily songs and circle time. I can't believe how much she has grown, changed and progressed over the past 2 years...she has thrived way beyond any expectations I had when she started preschool. I am so very proud of her. And her teachers have been amazing, she loves them and is always so excited to learn from them.
For the past 2 weeks they have been learning about the Rainforest - I learned a few things just by being in her class and this morning at breakfast she was telling Max all about it too. We went to the library, played in the gym and then played hockey outside on the playground. She had so much fun on her Special Day and I am so happy to have been able to be part of it.
She made sure that we both wore pink on her Special Day.
