My Bubs!

Maxton is such a silly little guy!  I can't believe how quickly he is growing and he seems to change just a tiny bit every single day.  His little personality is so happy and he is very head strong, just like his sister.   He loves to eat and will tell you what he wants.  He has to do everything that Arabella does!  Here he is doing what he does best....looking cute!

Flippin

Arabella loves to flip and tumble on her new mat!  Actually, who am I kidding, she tumbles anywhere at anytime!  Here she is practicing her walkovers...she is going to have them down in no time flat!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very fun and relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  It was so very nice to have Grammie and Auntie Lori here visiting with us.  Even though we kept busy with backyard fun and trips to the pool, we still managed to relax and enjoy the time we spent together.

We enjoyed yummy watermelon cucumber margaritas and a pineapple basil gin tonic!  Delicious!

Max experienced the Slip-n-Slide for the 1st time!  He loved it!

We spent time at the pool and had fun going down the slide!

Our backyard friends came for a visit...again!

We enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows!  And I learned that my mom loves her marshmallows burnt...just like Lori and Arabella!

And Cookie Monster decided to make an appearance and help Jay with some work.

It is always hard to say goodbye after having so much fun.  But we know that we will be together again very soon.  Thank you so much for visiting with us Grammie and Auntie...we miss you and love you!

Magnolias

We have beautiful magnolia trees in our neighborhood.  The flowers are huge and the scent fills the air.   The color is the perfect shade of creamy white. Magnolias are one of the things I love about the South.

Fairy Garden

Arabella has been enchanted with fairies for some time now.  We have read all of the books in the Never Girls series and she loves the idea that there are little fairies flying near her and watching over her while she sleeps.  I have wanted to make a fairy garden with her, but instead, Grammie did.  Arabella was super excited when Grammie gave her some fairies and garden accessories for her birthday.

We then took a trip to Lowes and picked up some plants to make the garden.  Arabella had so much fun picking out what should be in the garden.  She and Grammie did a great job with the main fairy "home" tree and all the succulents that surround it.

We have even had a few fairies visit - we know this because of the very pretty and sparkly fairy dust that has shown up on the home tree!
