Petit Gym Graduation
It is hard to believe that another 20 weeks has gone by and Arabella has officially graduated into another class at Petit Gym! She will be in the Funny Bugs/Giggle Worms in the Fall when classes start back up for her. I am amazed at her progress so far this year and she continues to develop into quite the little gymnast. She loves going to class and is great on all of the equipment. (She does however need to work a little on her listening and waiting for her turn, but that will come as she gets older, she is after all only 3!) Arabella, Mommy is so proud of you, keep up the awesome work...I can't wait to see the gymnast you will become!

Rainy Wednesday
Today was a cold, wet, and windy Spring Wednesday! But instead of letting the weather keep us in the house, we packed up, put on our raincoats and wellies and tackled Mother Nature head on. First stop - Petite Gym. Arabella had fun and is doing great, she just keeps getting better and stronger.

Next up, a few errands - Costco, Toys-R-Us, and Chapters before hitting up Zig Zag Zoo! Arabella loves Zig Zag Zoo and so do I. She gets to play with her friends and burn off energy. I get to spend some time with my friends. And that is worth every penny we paid for the yearly membership! Once all the kids start to hit the limit and are ready for nap time, we bundled back up and went out in the downpours and came home for a good nap. Well, it was supposed to be nap time but that didn't happen today. Not too big of a deal - Arabella helped me make more bows for her and it was then time for dinner and off to bed early for Arabella. I on the other hand had schoolwork to do!

Petite Gym Graduation
Today was the last day of Arabella's current session for Petite Gym. We brought Jay along to the class so he could see just how much she has improved, accomplished and grown since her last session. She loves to do the bars, does the perfect forward roll unassisted and what could be better than showing Dad/Jay her moves? Sometimes she has no patience for the singing, bubbles and other activities that are done in the class, she loves going so I re-enrolled her for the next Winter/Spring session. However, because of her being so much more developed and I want her to be challenged on the gymnastics's side, I think that over the Summer I am going to enroll her in WIMGYM, which is more gymnastics's oriented. Putting that aside, she did great, got another medal and had a fun time with Dad on a very cold Monday morning. Congratulations, Arabella, Mommy is so proud of you. I LOVE YOU!

Gymnastics Update
Gymnastics is going great! Yesterday, we got to bring Auntie Lori with us and we had so much fun! Arabella really enjoys it and her teacher this semester is really starting to challenge her to try new and advanced (for her age) moves. She continues to love the uneven bars and has started to take more of a liking to the beam. I am so proud of eveything that she has accomplished in her classes and for what she continues to do - Arabella is one amazing little girl and one budding gymnast!

Flippin
I was able to get a few videos of Arabella on the bars at Le Petite Gym during a make-up class she took this week. I still can't get over how strong she is!

Le Petite Gym "Graduation"
Today was Arabella's "graduation" from Le Petite Gym. It amazes me at how much her skill level has improved and how strong she is. She loves going to the Gym and playing with the other kids. She likes to learn new "tricks" and is obsessed with the bars, she loves to hang on them and pull herself up. We had a make-up class yesterday so Jay came with us to see how well she is doing in the class. I think he was also impressed by her skills. At the end of class they held a medal ceremony for all of the kids. It was too cute seeing her go up when called and getting her medal from her teacher. She loved it! Mommy is so proud of you Arabella, you are such a dynamic and amazing little girl! Keep up the great work!

Amazing Arabella
Arabella has been doing great at Le Petite Gym and she loves going to class. I am amazed to see how much progress she has made since she started the class in January. I will be enrolling her again in the fall, however, a few of the other mom's are so impressed with her gymnastics ability that they have suggested enrolling her in WIMGYM, which is more focused on competitive gymnastics.
Here are a few photos that I took today. I am hoping to get better ones when she has her "graduation" class in a few weeks since Jay will be attending that class.
In addition to her love of gymnastics, she is a great helper! She will help me do almost anything and if she can't help, she gets mad. Today was no different, she helped unpack the grocery bags. Thanks for your help Little Bean, I love you!

Tumbling
Arabella loves to do her forward rolls that she has learned at Le Petite Gym! She was practicing them yesterday and was doing a great job all by herself!

Le Petite Gym at Jax Beaches
Since Arabella was going to miss 3 of her classes at Le Petite Gym while we were on vacation, we decided to make up a class at a location in Florida. That is one of the things I love about Le Petite Gym, they are so flexible and accommodating.
Arabella had a chance to show Grammie all that she has learned in her classes her at home. She had a lot of fun running off all her energy and learning some new moves. She was taught how to walk on the low bar of the uneven bars while holding on to the high bar. She was just like a pro! Arabella also practiced walking on the beam and enjoyed the bubble activity that they did at the end of class!

Le Petite Gym
I am jumping up and down with excitement and I am not even the one who is doing the class! Arabella, loved, loved, loved le Petite Gym! She had so much fun running around, singing and trying out the gymnastics equipment. I am able to stay with her in the class and the instructors teach you the proper way to spot when Arabella is on the equipment. The class starts with singing in a circle and then they do some warm up activities (the walk in a circle, run, hop and jump). We did a game with the parachute today, and the kids enjoyed that. Once they are warmed up, they are allowed to explore the equipment. At the end of class they sing in the circle again to relax them.
Arabella loved the uneven bars, which had my almost in tears since that was my favorite when I was doing gymnastics. She wanted to do it over and over again. She would just pull herself up and do chin ups, which was pretty impressive. She also would pull her legs up like she was going to try and flip over the bar. The instructor spotted her one time and she was impressed with her strength! Arabella also seemed to enjoy walking on the balance beam. They had two for her to walk on, one was right at ground level and the other was about 3 feet off the ground. She walked right up the stairs that they had next to the beam and them proceed to walk the entire length. She did hold our hands, but was not scared at all. She also had fun swinging from the rings. She is fearless and I am amazed by her strength. I am already looking forward to next weeks class and I think she is too! She didn't want to leave.
As an aside, I would normally post pictures, but Jay forgot the camera in the lobby and I think he didn't want to look silly taking pictures...maybe I can get him to snap a few next week...my fingers are crossed!
