PUMPKINFERNO!!

Yesterday we joined friends to see the PumpkInferno exhibit at Upper Canada Village in Ontario.  We first had dinner in Massena, NY (Yes, we crossed the border just for dinner...and in Massena of all places) with June, Mike and Christopher before heading back over the border to head to the exhibit.  (Dinner was very yummy and inexpensive too!  We brought home leftover pizza and it is so good!!)  After dinner, we joined Carrie & Cristina and Richard, Laura, Allyson & Emily to see the sights!

Upper Canada Village is like Colonial Williamsburg just on a smaller scale.  The weather was perfect last night for us to walk around the village after dark to check out all the amazingly carved pumpkins!  There were 4,500 pumpkins that had been carved in many different themes.  The kids loved it and it was so nice to be out enjoying the weather, friends and the Autumn season before the snow flakes fly or Hurricane Sandy dampens our spirits!
