Grammie flew up from Florida to meet Maxton and spend some time with Arabella. Customs was quick and she was waiting for me when we got there to pick her up (in true Montreal airport fashion, there were no parking spots in the parking garage, I had to park on the roof!) I was very excited for her to meet Max and she was too. It was such a special moment.
As soon as we got home, Grammie and Max had some snuggle time. They were both in heaven!
Arabella had no idea what Grammie was coming. She was so surprised when she got home from school and was so excited to see her!
They even had a fun time having an after school snack!

Little Fish
Arabella is doing great with her swim lessons! She is now in the green level and is working really hard. She can swim the whole width of the pool and is also working on swimming on her back. One of the things they are working on this session is the front crawl, which tires her out, but she keeps on going. Keep up the great work Arabella, I am so proud of you!
So Serious
I swear every time I try to take Max's picture, he goes from looking cute and adorable to looking so serious! See what I mean...

Surprise Baby Shower
I honestly have the most amazing friends here! The gave my friend Linda and I, who were pregnant at the same time and had Max and Valerie a few weeks apart, a surprise baby shower a few weeks ago. We were lured to Cynthia's house - she had just purchased a new house in the Fall and so we thought we were going for a house warming brunch. We both even baked items to bring with us! It was such a nice surprise to be celebrated for the birth's of our babies. I love these women who are more like sisters to me. We had such a nice morning just relaxing and spending time together. The rest was just a bonus. It was perfect. Everyone had a fun time passing the new little ones around. And we were showered with a few nice gifts, including a huge diaper cake made by June. Thank you ladies for such a special morning!!

School Project
One of the recent themes at school for Arabella was Nunavut. Nunavut is a province in Northern Canada. During this theme, they learned about the Inuit (Native people), their habits and what their daily lives are like. They also learned about the landscape and about how much snow there is. One of the group projects that she completed was a mini storybook called:
