February Fun

Since Auntie Lori is here, we have been having a ton of fun!

Arabella has also enjoyed taking Auntie to her art class yesterday. She had a great time making a dinosaur and even let Auntie help her. She has also been working on her scissor skills and she really does enjoy her art class.

Today, Arabella took Auntie to her Petite Gym class. She did excellent today and she was really focused and listened to her instructor great! She also concentrated really hard on the balance beam and did a great job on the bars as well.

And just for fun, while we were out and about today, we came across these huge snow and ice piles in a parking lot. It is funny that they are just hanging out in the middle of the parking lot. They look like icebergs out of water!

Valentine's

Yesterday, in art class, Arabella made the cutest Valentine and Love Bug. I would post a picture of the Valentine that she made, but I am not sure if we are going to make them for our family and if we do and I post a picture, it will ruin the surprise. Needless to say, the Valentine made me cry when we were making it as it is a reminder of how quickly she is growing up. We already made Valentine's for everyone and they are in the mail, so if we don't make them tomorrow for everyone, I will post a picture of her art class Valentine. As for the Love Bug, it is the cutest little craft and we did it together which was fun. I think this craft is fitting since I call her my Little Bean Love Bug and she calls me Mommy Love Bug. This craft is going to be a keeper.

Arabella also received her first Valentine of the year in the mail yesterday from Grammie. She had fun opening her card and loved her stickers and both carried the Love Bug theme again, it was too cute! Thanks Grammie, we love you!

Arabella's Art Class

Since Arabella enjoyed the art class she was taking in the Fall, I re-enrolled her for the Winter session. She really looks forward to going and I like how a story is read at the beginning of class and then the art/craft/project is in relation to the story. Yesterday we heard a story about snowmen and made the cutest craft, using a variety of different art supplies - we painted, used chalk, glue and cotton balls, no bake clay and a few others. She had a lot of fun doing this project and was very proud of it and couldn't wait to show Jay when he got home!
