The Last Days of Summer Break
It is hard to believe that Arabella starts 1st Grade tomorrow. This Summer just flew by! Amazing how when you are having fun and enjoying things that you lose track of time. We didn't do much between Myrtle Beach and school starting...mostly just getting on a schedule so it was easy on us all...not sure how that worked though...
I tired a new Pinot Noir that was delicious.
How cute is he pulling his helicopter???
Mr. Caterpillar! He wore this hat everywhere around the house.
Max helping Jay work in the yard.
And I think the sky mirrored our feelings of Summer coming to an end.

Trying out the new backyard pool...not as good as the last one...

Myrtle Beach Vacation...Just a Few More
While organizing the pictures, I can across just a few more pictures of the fun.
We went mini-golfing, although it was part disaster because I got a hole-in-one. not on purpose, and our very, very competitive daughter didn't like it. (Think back to when Andre Agassi threw the tantrum with his tennis racket, but she did it with a gold club...it was so hard not to laugh at her.)
I love what the salt air and water does to them...he was out like a light!
The End!

Myrtle Beach Sunrise
Before packing up to head back inland, I decided to watch the sunrise. I told Arabella about it the night before and she told she wanted to see it too. When I got up, I thought about letting her sleep, but decided that seeing the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean is one of Mother Nature's great beauties and I wanted her to experience it.
You can see the sun just starting to peek over the horizon in this picture.
I love this reflection in the sand and water near the shore.
Arabella and I sat in the sand and quietly waited, with many others, to watch the day dawn. She thought it was amazing and I know that it will not be something that she will soon forget. I am so thankful to be able to share this with her.
(The pictures below are posted in the order they were taken to show the beauty and progress of the sunrise.)

A bit more here and the sky color changes.
