On Saturday morning, before it got too hot and steamy, we went to our local Farmer's Market. It is a producer only market, which makes us feel good about knowing that we are buying direct from local farmers and that they are using sustainable and healthy farming methods. Arabella loved picking out all the fresh fruits and veggies. We even got fresh eggs, free range meats and some delicious coconut bread rolls! We will be making another trip back this Saturday to get more local and fresh goodies!

Sitting Up
It is hard to believe that Max will be 6 (gulp) months this week! He is doing amazing and we will see how he makes out at his 6 month doctors appointment later this week. In the meantime, he has been working on sitting up all by himself!
Friday Morning Masterpiece
Last Friday, Max was taking a good morning nap, so Arabella and I decided to beautify the driveway. We made chalk pictures over the whole thing. A few of her friends from across the street joined us for a bit before it got too hot. We had a fun time and the driveway looked so colorful!
Summer To-Do List
Now that it is officially July 1st, we are planning on kicking our Summer fun into high gear. Here is a list I found on Pintrest with some fun ideas that we plan on doing!
Lowe's Build & Grow Project
One Saturday a month, Jay and Arabella head to Lowe's and do their Build & Grow Project. In May, it was a picture frame for Mother's Day and last weekend, they made a cute little treasure box for Monster's University. She loves going, does most of the building herself and is so proud of her project when she gets home. Another plus, it gives her and Jay some one-on-one time to do something fun together!
