2 Month Drs Appointment

It is hard to believe that Baby Max is 2 months old.  Yikes!!  Time is going by way, way too fast!

His appointment was great, he is doing amazing and his doctor couldn't believe how strong he is!  I swear it is because of all the training for the Spartan Race and then some that I did while I was pregnant.  I also took really, really good Rainbow Light prenatal vitamins. At his appointment, he was 9 weeks and weighed 5.02 kg (25th percentile), 57.5 cm (25-50th percentile) and his head circumference was 39 cm (25th percentile).

Birthday Bashes

Arabella is such a social butterfly!  She had 2 birthdays on the same day a few weekends back.  And of course she couldn't miss either one!  First up was Diego's 5th Birthday.  It was at WIMGYM - Arabella goes to gymnastics there and had a ball.  We couldn't stay for the whole party but we did enjoy our time celebrating.

We then went to Giacomo's 5th Birthday Party at Petit Gym.  It was super hero themed and the kids were encouraged to dress as their favorite super hero.  Arabella wanted to dress up as Cat Woman.  She and Jay worked on her costume last minute, but when you think about it, there isn't too much too it.  They cut a mask out of black foam and then spray painted a pair of devils horns black.  It was perfect and she looked so cute.  She had a ton of fun running around, doing a hip hop dance and celebrating with G!

G was so happy when he opened Arabella's gift...she got him the Robin figure and the Flash figure!

Max Meets Auntie Lori

Arabella was such a great big sister and couldn't wait to introduce Max to Auntie Lori.  And Auntie Lori was in love when she met him.  Max and Arabella are so lucky to have her!

Saturday Surprises

Arabella had a weekend of surprises after we got home from our house hunting trip.  Auntie Lori drive up for one last visit and she totally surprised Arabella...

Arabella couldn't believe it!  She sure loved having Auntie for a visit.

And when she woke up on Sunday, Uncle Jeff was here...he had a quick overnight trip in Montreal.  So he stayed with us.  They were silly in the car when we took Uncle Jeff back to the airport.

Barbie Event

At out local Toys-R-Us, that had an event for the release of the new Barbie movie. I loved Barbie's when I was little and Arabella is just now getting into them.  And because of that, I am out of the loop on Barbie and what is going on with her...right now we have our hands full with princesses and playmobil... I know is that it had something to do with ballet.  Arabella was pretty excited about going and had fun decorating a tutu and then getting some pretty simple lessons in ballet.  It was a good way for her and I to spend sometime together (afterwards we hit Chapters and Starbucks) and have a fun morning.  Nothing too complicated just good old fashioned girl time.

Charlotte

We had a fun and productive trip to Charlotte to look for houses.  We found a beautiful house that all of us feel in love with and are looking forward to moving into.  After the stress of finding it, we had a bit of time to relax and enjoy things.  We didn't do much exploring...I figure we will do it when we get there and have time to kill while living in a hotel for about 2 weeks since we can't close right away on the property.  We did however bring a bit of snow south with us - it snowed on Saturday, but didn't last long.  After that the weather was nice and sunny!

Grammie flew up for the weekend and spent Saturday with Arabella while we house hunted.  Arabella loved it and we couldn't have done it without Grammie...thanks so much!

Max's First Airplane Ride

Max had his first airplane ride for our house hunting trip to Charlotte.  He was a rock star!  No crying, no whimpering, no complaints at all...just like Arabella.  I am so lucky to have great travelers!
